Gabriella is a freelance graphic designer based out of Spokane, Washington. Passionate about making a positive impact on her community, she delights in working on projects that support local causes or that advocate for change.
Adopted from China, and raised in a multi-cultural household, Gabriella’s unique cultural background serves as a powerful influence on her designs. When applicable, she takes pride in seamlessly incorporating elements of cross-cultural heritage into her projects, adding a distinctive flair to her creations.
Gabriella is a dedicated advocate for those whose voices often go unheard. She takes pride in projects that serve as a platform to bring attention to important issues and/or amplify the efforts of change-makers. Through her design work, Gabriella strives to create visual narratives that not only captivate but also contribute to meaningful conversations, fostering awareness and understanding.
Gabriella’s personal journey enhances her ability to empathize and connect with diverse clientele, thereby enriching the depth of her designs. Regardless of the project at hand, each of Gabriella’s projects exudes a sense of delicacy and elegance.

I love photographing my beautiful city and have won third place in the Youth Category for The Spokesman-Review Fair Photo Contest and have won regionals for Scholastic. I also volunteer at my local animal shelter, assisting them with graphic design work. In addition, I work for the YMCA’s Youth & Government program, focusing on teaching youth about civic engagement. When I have free time, I spend hours consuming a good book with a cup of tea.

In 2019, I spoke to the Washington State Senate as a keynote speaker for Youth Civic Day regarding the YMCA’s Youth Legislature program and the impact it made on my life.

I have three animals, two cats and a dog. Both of my cats are named after characters in Borderlands, Maya and Zero. The dog is named after Westley in “The Princess Bride.”

Mei Xiao Si is of Chinese origin and translates to "Beautiful Little Silk."
