Travel Guide Alaska Website: Stories of Alaska & Beyond

Vacation Country Travel Guide is an established publication that covers current travel stories and information on Alaska, British Columbia, Yukon, and the Pacific Northwest. The Alaska extension, their largest and most diverse set of magazines, needed a logo and website to host their variety of blog posts, pictures, and videos accompanying the varied categories of Alaska, including bear articles, summer activities, winter activities and featured stories.

Logo Concept:

The Travel Guides Alaska logo needed to represent the established line of publications, but also have a unique feel. Using the primary colors and font of Travel Guide, the Alaska logo focuses on the word “Alaska” with an overlay of sled dogs and northern lights, representing the unique Alaska experience.

Website:

Harnessing the power of imagery to promote the various blog posts, each post is meticulously categorized into sections, ensuring ease of navigation and optimal user engagement. The integration of the e-book companions serve to connect visitors seamlessly with the main site, enriching their exploration.

A dedicated videos section was added to enhance the interactive experience, providing additional depth and insight. This design not only prioritizes user experience, but also incorporates the distinctive aesthetics of the primary brand, while emphasizing functionality and accessibility.

Built with growth in mind, each page is designed with thoughtfulness in order to allow for easier expansion as more articles, videos, and other content are added.
